MANOROFANIMALS is the solo musical project of Sam Lasko. Growing up in “Tree City” Kent Ohio, Sam was exposed to a wide range of musical styles. Elements of Folk, Bluegrass, Traditional Ghanaian Hand Drumming, RnB and Hip hop can all be heard woven into the fabric of his music.

His style ranges from synthy indie pop ballads to gritty acoustic songwriter vibes and is known to frequent beatmaker communities, releasing instrumental hip hop tapes and remixes.

 

Today he calls the city of Los Angeles home and writes and produces original music from his home studio. His live set consists of live guitar, bass and keyboards as well as electronic elements and instrumental guests when possible.
